Cape Town, Ho Chi Minh City, Kigali and Nairobi
The GEI Study & Training Centers are based on dynamic multi-stakeholder partnerships:
- Interventions are co-owned by key local stakeholders – national governments, universities or civil society organizations – who shape the capacity development responses according to their priorities and needs.
- Interventions are informed by a rigorous body of evidence and guided by experienced international partners – professional umbrella bodies, universities, training institutions and qualified master trainers.
- Interventions are managed by a Berlin-based secretariat and GEI’s Training Centers currently located in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Kigali (Rwanda), Nairobi (Kenya) and Cape Town (South Africa).
- Interventions are implemented hand in hand by visiting delegations of qualified international professionals and students as well as an emerging group of local professionals who benefit from a train-the-trainer model.
