GLOBAL CUSTOM INTERNSHIPS
Global Custom Internships provide tailored placements with organizations across sectors such as development, sustainability, engineering, education, business, and social innovation. Each internship is individually matched based on the participant's background, interests, and professional goals, allowing students to contribute to ongoing initiatives while gaining practical experience in an international setting.
These internships are available across multiple destinations in Africa and Southeast Asia and can be adapted in length and focus to fit academic requirements or career exploration.
GLOBAL CLINICAL INTERNSHIPS
Global Clinical Internships offer students in health-related fields the opportunity to gain observational and learning experience in healthcare settings abroad. Participants engage with hospitals, clinics, and health-focused organizations while deepening their understanding of healthcare systems, public health challenges, and culturally responsive care.
Designed for students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, public health, or allied health professions, these placements emphasize learning, exposure, and reflection within diverse health contexts.
GLOBAL VIRTUAL INTERNSHIPS
Global Virtual Internships connect students with organizations in Africa and Southeast Asia through remote, project-based collaboration. Participants work with international teams while developing professional skills such as cross-cultural communication, remote teamwork, and global problem-solving.
This flexible format allows students to gain international experience from anywhere in the world while contributing to meaningful projects with community partners, social enterprises, and organizations across multiple sectors.
Program formats
- Flexible start dates: Internships are available year-round, allowing students to begin when it best fits their academic schedule.
- Custom placement matching: Each placement is tailored to align with the intern's academic background, professional interests, and learning objectives.
- Flexible duration: Most internships begin at a minimum of four weeks, with longer placements available depending on program goals and availability.
- Standalone or credit-aligned: Internships can be completed as independent professional experiences or integrated into university credit frameworks when approved by a student's home institution.
- Locations across Africa and Southeast Asia: Internships are currently offered in destinations including Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam.
